Children Yoga Wellness Coach
About The Position
We are looking for reliable, energetic, and positive coaches to teach beginner-level programs for children ages 5–10 (Grades K–5) at schools throughout the Bay Area. All lesson plans and equipment are provided. The goal is to create a fun, active, and supportive learning environment for young participants. The role offers an after-school program, with classes Monday through Friday between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM, paying $50–$65 per class. Saturday tennis clinics are also available, paying $18–$24 per hour and scheduled on Saturdays and/or Sundays; back-to-back sessions may be available for coaches demonstrating strong tennis and coaching skills. Coaches must attend a two-day unpaid training/shadowing session, with each session lasting 2–3 hours. This is an in-person position for applicants who currently live in the Bay Area.
Requirements
- Be at least 19 years old.
- Enjoy working with children.
- Have strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Have a valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
- Be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
- Complete required employment screening and documentation.
- Provide a photo and short biography for the company website.
- Currently live in the Bay Area and be available for in-person work.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Playing or coaching experience is preferred but not required.
- USPTA or PTR certification is a plus.
- Strong tennis and coaching skills for Saturday tennis clinic opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Teach classes using company lesson plans.
- Manage groups of 8–16 students.
- Create a safe and positive learning environment.
- Attend a two-day unpaid training/shadowing session, with 2–3 hours per session.
- Take attendance and manage student sign-in and sign-out.
- Communicate professionally with parents and school staff.
- Take a few class photos for program documentation.
