About The Position

Devereux PA Children Services is hosting a Job Fair event for individuals passionate about making a positive impact on adolescents aged 7-21 with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and Behavioral/Mental Health (BH/MH) diagnoses. The event offers on-the-spot interviews for various positions within school, residential, or community environments. Devereux provides a supportive, educational, and clinically focused environment. Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid Driver's License (Not required at all locations).
  • Education Evaluation required if education was acquired outside of the U.S.
  • Drug Free Workplace/Testing Required.
  • Prior experience working with children in behavioral health preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the treatment planning process.
  • Provide services to children, adolescents, and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional, and psychiatric challenges.
  • Deliver psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF), acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (AIP), assessment services, community-based mental health services, community-based employment training, and social skills training.
  • Provide approved private school educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives.
