About The Position

Soccer Shots is a youth soccer organization focused on building character through weekly soccer sessions. Our mission is to positively impact every child we coach and provide a remarkable experience for families on and off the field. We are a team of over 80 coaches committed to our core values: We are Fun, We are a Team, We Pursue Excellence, and We Make a Difference. We offer noncompetitive, introductory soccer classes for children at various locations around the greater Austin area, including parks, preschools, daycares, indoor facilities, and elementary schools. Schedules are created seasonally and determined by availability and location.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Reliable transportation and a valid Driver's License.
• Pass an FBI Criminal Background Check.
• Fully authorized to work in the US without restriction.
• Currently live in the greater Austin metropolitan area.
• Currently certified or able to become CPR & First Aid certified.

Nice To Haves

• Coaching or childhood education experience preferred.
• Spanish proficiency/fluency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coach and instruct youth soccer sessions.
• Make a positive impact on children through soccer.
• Provide a remarkable experience for families.
• Manage a class of up to 12 children safely.
