About The Position
The YMCA is looking for a caring, energetic Children's Program Instructor to help create a fun, safe, and engaging environment for preschool-aged children. In this role, you'll lead age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, creativity, movement, and social development. We're seeking someone who loves working with young children and can commit to at least two mornings per week. The YMCA is a leading non-profit organization committed to strengthening community through Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility.
Requirements
- Certifications that must be obtained and maintained within first 90 days: CPR, AED , First Aid, Child Abuse Prevention, Blood borne Pathogens, Hazard Communication.
- Willingness to attend meetings, training, and obtain additional certification as requested.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience providing care for infants and pre-school aged children, preferred.
- Experience in children’s programming/education, preferred.
