About The Position
Axcess is hiring a Children’s Personal Care Aide to provide in-home support to a child with special needs in Summerville, SC. This role focuses on supervision, personal care, and daily assistance to ensure the child’s safety and well-being while giving families peace of mind. Axcess is a home care provider serving children with special needs and disabilities across South Carolina, contracted with Community Long Term Care and the Department of Disabilities and Special Needs (DDSN).
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Physically able to assist a child with special needs
- Valid driver’s license and insured transportation
Responsibilities
- Supervision and safety monitoring
- Bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Diapering/incontinence care
- Meal preparation and feeding
- Assistance with daily activities and routines
- Light housekeeping related to the child’s care
