Help Young Hearts Heal Through Creativity and Care Are you passionate about guiding children through life’s toughest moments? Join us as a Children’s Grief Counselor, where you’ll provide compassionate support and innovative therapy to help grieving youth find hope and healing. In this role, you’ll help design meaningful programs, lead workshops and camps, and walk alongside families during their journey of loss. If you’re dedicated, empathetic, and ready to make a lasting impact, this is your chance to turn care into transformation. This is a grant-funded, fixed-term position lasting two years. The role is 32 hours per week and is eligible for full company benefits, including medical, dental, vision, retirement, short-term disability, and paid time off. Mileage reimbursement is provided. This is a hybrid position that requires one day per week in the Charlottesville office, with the remaining time spent supporting children and families in Buckingham County. Some evening availability may be required based on patient and program needs.
