About The Position

The Little Gym of Cary is seeking a Children's Fitness Instructor who has tons of energy, loves kids, and is looking for a way to give back to the community. This role involves teaching amazing classes and leading fabulous birthday parties based on a proven curriculum and teaching method. The instructor will also coordinate all aspects of birthday parties with families, provide outstanding customer service, and be part of a team dedicated to the growth and development of children. The Little Gym is the world’s premier enrichment and physical development center for children ages 4 months through 12 years, using movement-based learning and imaginative play to build confidence and skills. For over 40 years, trained instructors have nurtured happy, confident kids through various programs and events.

Requirements

Be totally open to being a goofball and love giving (air) high 5's.
Have background in gymnastics, dance, early childhood development or education.
Live to serve! Making others feel good makes you feel good.
Kids really like you AND their parents really like you too.
Be voted most likely to be in a good mood by your high school classmates.
Love to have fun but know when to buckle down and do work.
20 -30 weekly hours
Schedule Monday & Wednesday - 10am - 8pm
Weekends - Required

Nice To Haves

A background in child development, physical education and /or gymnastics helps as well.

Responsibilities

Teach amazing classes and lead fabulous birthday parties based on our proven curriculum and teaching method.
Be part of a team of instructors who teach classes and run birthday parties on the weekends.
Coordinate all aspects of birthday parties with families who are hosting at our facility and make sure they have a truly magical experience!
Provide outstanding customer service and membership experience.
Make a positive impact on the growth and development of the children and families of our community.
