Children's Fitness Instructor - The Little Gym of Durham
About The Position
The Little Gym of Durham is seeking a Children's Fitness Instructor who has tons of energy, loves kids, and is looking for a way to give back to the community. This role involves teaching classes and leading birthday parties based on a proven curriculum and teaching method. The instructor will also coordinate birthday parties with families, provide outstanding customer service, and be part of a team that makes a positive impact on the growth and development of children and families. Many leaders in the company started in this position, indicating opportunities for upward mobility.
Requirements
- Be totally open to being a goofball and love giving (air) high 5's.
- Have background in gymnastics, dance, early childhood development or education.
- Live to serve! Making others feel good makes you feel good.
- Kids really like you AND their parents really like you too.
- Be voted most likely to be in a good mood by your high school classmates.
- Love to have fun but know when to buckle down and do work.
Nice To Haves
- A background in child development, physical education and /or gymnastics helps as well.
Responsibilities
- Teach amazing classes and lead fabulous birthday parties based on our proven curriculum and teaching method.
- Be part of a team of instructors who teach classes and run birthday parties on the weekends.
- Coordinate all aspects of birthday parties with families who are hosting at our facility and make sure they have a truly magical experience.
- Provide outstanding customer service and membership experience.
