About The Position
Executive Language Training (ELT), a United States-based language service provider specializing in customized language training for expatriates and their families, is seeking a qualified and experienced English language teacher for an in-person children's program. The program has 100 hours available and serves a six-year-old native Portuguese speaker who needs to develop basic daily speaking skills. Sessions take place twice per week for 60 minutes on weekdays at the participant's home near the Baker Rd exit of I-94.
Requirements
- Minimum bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Proven experience teaching English to non-native speakers.
- Strong understanding of language acquisition and pedagogical methods.
Responsibilities
- Teach English to a six-year-old native Portuguese speaker.
- Help the participant develop basic daily speaking skills.
- Provide in-person instruction at the participant's home.
