In-Person Children's English Instructor
About The Position
LTC Language Solutions is seeking an ESL instructor for face-to-face tutoring near Morristown, NJ. We are a language services provider specializing in language and cultural training for relocating expats. We have a young student from France who has moved to Florham Park with their family and requested beginner English language classes for an 8-year-old student. The classes will be held at the student's home in Florham Park, NJ, twice a week for 1.5 to 2 hours each session, preferably on weekday mornings around 9:00 AM. The position is for an independent contractor and is expected to last up to 80 hours, starting as soon as the instructor is available. The curriculum will be based on student goals, with LTC covering the cost of any necessary textbooks or materials, and the teacher is expected to supplement with authentic materials and activities.
Requirements
- Advanced English proficiency (C1 or C2 level).
- At least 2 years of experience teaching children.
- Ability to travel to Florham Park, NJ for tutoring sessions.
Nice To Haves
- Experience teaching French-speaking students.
- Familiarity with expat relocation support.
