Requirements
- CPR/1st Aid certified or willing to be certified.
- Moderate computer literacy: Word and Excel, email and Internet.
- Expected to lift 25 lbs frequently and possibly up to 60 lbs.
- Should be able to stand and walk for the majority of an 8 hour shift.
- Multi-tasking ability and ability to self-start.
- You will be exposed to many viruses including colds and flus as well as Bloodborne pathogens and other bodily fluid hazards.
- English reading, writing, communications, math and chart reading
Nice To Haves
- Ski binding technician certificate, will train upon hire.
- Strong organizational skills preferred.
- Cashiering, computer sales, and front desk/sales experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Performs sales transactions for daycare, lessons, tickets and rentals. Includes cashiering, efficient organization of rental forms, knowledge of daycare, rental equipment and lesson programs, accurate and efficient data entry.
- Process sales and order fulfillment through our Point of Sale computer system, including processing discounts, coupons and other product specials.
- Sell daily childcare, lessons, lift ticket products and rental products. Will also be responsible for answering the front desk phone.
- Assists guests in selecting the best product or package to fit their needs. Helps guest fill out appropriate paperwork and enter this information accurately in our point of sale database.
- Balance cash and card transactions within the daily till and point of sale.
- Handle both positive and negative guest interactions with grace and composure. Maintaining a helpful and empathetic demeanor.
- Will supervise children in the daycare as needed, including serving meals/snacks, dressing children, changing diapers, maintaining cleanliness throughout facility, arranging and entertaining children with books, movies, games, etc.
- Strong knowledge of Schweitzer and all product offerings including village activities and special events.
- Responsible for monitoring all persons entering the facility for the protection of children.
