About The Position

Morrison Center is seeking a Children’s Care Coordinator to join its multidisciplinary team in Brewer, Maine. Care Coordinators assist individuals and their families in identifying strategies to help them meet their goals. The role works with children with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, from 6 months to 20 years old, and manages a caseload of 25–30 clients. The position requires in-person work and may offer some hybrid work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to work in person.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in Children’s Services, or two years of experience in social services.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Work with children who have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
• Manage a caseload of 25–30 clients.
• Complete documentation in accordance with regulatory agencies.
• Represent Morrison Center in the community and serve as a liaison with other agencies.
• Perform monthly home visits and school observations.
• Support families at IEP meetings, team meetings, and medical appointments.
• Complete 90-day continued stay reviews with families.
