At the Saskatchewan Foster Families Association (SFFA), we believe every child deserves a stable, nurturing environment where they can thrive. We work alongside foster families to provide the resources and support needed to help children in care feel seen, heard, and valued. We are currently seeking a Part-Time Mentor — a compassionate, reliable individual who can make a meaningful one-on-one connection with children and youth in foster care. As a child or youth Mentor, you will serve as a consistent, positive role model in a child’s life. In this one-to-one role, your primary focus is building a supportive relationship with a child or youth, encouraging their personal growth, emotional well-being, and confidence. This position may include participating in daily activities, helping with schoolwork, supporting life skills development, and engaging in meaningful conversations. A successful mentor is flexible, patient, and committed to making a long-term impact.
