About The Position

Growing Up At Obici (at Sentara Obici Hospital) is hiring a Childcare/Teacher. This is a Part-Time position with an Evening Shift. As a Teacher with Sentara, you will be responsible for the care and learning of children. You will initiate and provide activities appropriate to children in various age groups. The Teacher is responsible for following the curriculum and developing lesson plans for the group of children in their care and manage the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Requirements

Associates Level Degree Required
Driver's License - (Required)
Clean DMV Record (Required)
2 years Childcare (Required)
Must be able to drive a 14-person van (Required)
Food Handlers Card - Certification - Food Service Certification w/in 90 days of hire
Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI w/in 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

Responsible for the care and learning of children.

Manage the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom.
Drive a 14-person van.
