About The Position

The Sunshine House is hiring a part-time Childcare Teacher at its Loganville, Georgia school. The role supports children’s safety, education, and care in a nurturing early-learning environment. Teachers create an engaging classroom where children can learn, play, and grow; support social and emotional development; use the Creative Curriculum and Brain Connect programs to foster a love of learning; and build partnerships with families through daily app updates and personal discussions. The listed pay range is $13–$15 per hour. Candidates with advanced education and early-childhood experience may qualify for higher pay within the range. The company considers regular increases based on additional education, performance, and length of service. The position follows a Monday–Friday schedule. Part-time employees working 17–29 hours per week receive a paid-time-off allowance, with PTO accruing from the first day of employment. The Sunshine House provides early education and childcare for children from 6 weeks to 12 years old and operates more than 100 schools across seven states. Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Have a passion for working with young children.
Be able to pass background checks and health assessments.
Be able to lift up to 30 pounds for child safety and emergencies.
Previous experience working in licensed childcare is listed as a requirement.

Nice To Haves

A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) is preferred.
