About The Position
Growing Up At Obici (at Sentara Obici Hospital) is hiring a Childcare/Teacher for their Infant and Toddler rooms. This is a Part-Time, Evening Shift position. As a Teacher with Sentara, you will be responsible for the care and learning of children. You will initiate and provide activities appropriate to children in various age groups. The Teacher is responsible for following the curriculum and developing lesson plans for the group of children in their care and manage the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. This role offers a great opportunity for creativity and impacting children positively in their early years. Requirements
- Associates Level Degree Required
- Driver's License - (Required)
- Clean DMV Record (Required)
- 2 years Childcare (Required)
- Must be able to drive a 14-person van (Required)
- Food Handlers Card - Certification - Food Service Certification w/in 90 days of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI w/in 30 days of hire
Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom.
- Drive a 14-person van.
