About The Position
The Learning Village is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher in Mars, Pennsylvania, to help young children learn, grow, and explore. The teacher creates a safe and caring classroom, leads hands-on learning activities using the center’s curriculum, encourages children’s creativity and independence, and supports their social, emotional, and academic development through positive guidance. The role also includes recognizing developmental milestones, communicating with families each day, and collaborating with the teaching team. The center uses Conscious Discipline and an engaging, hands-on curriculum, and describes its leadership as supportive and receptive to ideas.
Requirements
- Be passionate about early childhood education.
- Be warm, patient, and energetic.
- Be a team player with a positive attitude.
- Be able to meet all Pennsylvania childcare licensing requirements.
- CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain certification with the employer’s help.
Nice To Haves
- At least two years of experience working with young children; babysitting, nannying, or childcare experience counts.
