Childcare Teacher
About The Position
We are seeking Childcare Teachers to join the New Horizon Academy team in Olathe, KS! We are looking for staff in the Infant, Two's, and Float classrooms. All applicants MUST meet state requirements for teacher qualification as defined by the Kansas Child Care Licensing Program, be able to work a full-time schedule, Monday-Friday between the hours of 6:30 am - 6:00 pm, have a positive work ethic and a team-centered attitude, be willing to learn and grow as an educator, and enjoy working with children. Previous childcare experience is preferred. You'll love teaching with us, just as our children will love learning with you! Requirements
- Meet state requirements for teacher qualification as defined by the Kansas Child Care Licensing Program.
- Be able to work a full-time schedule, Monday-Friday between the hours of 6:30 am - 6:00 pm.
- Have positive work ethic, and a team-centered attitude.
- Be willing to learn and grow as an educator.
- Enjoy working with children!
- Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the listed position.
- Has a passion for working with young children.
- Has interest in beginning or continuing their education in early childhood education or a related field.
- Can satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
- Has documentation of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.
- Has the ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff, as well as to understand state licensing regulations and company policies.
