About The Position

As a daycare teacher, you'll make a difference by shaping a child's future. Joining The Sunshine House family means making an impact. Our preschool teachers play a crucial role in the safety, education, and childcare of our young ones. We have a 50-year legacy of love and early childhood education. We are hiring at two locations: 3011 Broad River Rd. Columbia, SC 29210 and 2882 Emanuel Church Rd. West Columbia, SC 29170.

Requirements

Passion for working with young children.
At least 18-years-old.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to pass background checks & health assessments.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. for child safety and emergencies.
At least 30 days paid teaching experience in DSS licensed daycare setting required.

Nice To Haves

ECD 101 or degree in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field preferred.
