About The Position

The Children, Youth and Family Program is looking for a childcare provider who is an experienced worker and is able to work part time evenings and weekends. To be a successful childcare provider, you should enjoy being around children and feel comfortable juggling multiple behavior challenges. The person must also exhibit a strong belief and commitment to FPC’s mission and vision throughout all interactions.

Requirements

• Experience working with children aged 0 to 8 needed.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
• Superb multitasking abilities and sound judgement skills.
• Ability to manage behavioral and developmental challenges in children using positive behavior management techniques.
• Candidates will be required to undergo and successfully pass a background check prior to hire.
• Bilingual required.
• Minimum high school diploma and 3-5 years proven experience working with children.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interact with children and help provide a safe and fun environment.
• Help babies with basic needs including feeding and changing if needed.
• Distribute snack, activities and cleanup as needed.
