The Childcare Provider 2 position is responsible for assisting the Childcare Specialist with the planning of the before and after school program and the supervision of children. This role involves establishing and maintaining positive relationships with students, employees, and the community, ensuring that the site and activities are prepared before children arrive, and supervising children at all times. The provider will also administer first aid when necessary, treat every child with respect, maintain acceptable behavior standards consistent with district and program policy, and keep the Childcare Specialist informed of student activities. Additionally, the role includes participating in clean-up activities and completing a minimum of 18 verifiable hours of approved training annually per Department of Health Services regulations. Other job-related duties may be assigned.
