Requirements

  • High School Diploma is a minimum requirement.
  • Experience working with young children.
  • Some coursework in early childhood, education, or a related field.
  • CPL 2 (Child Development Associate Credential or equivalent).
  • Willingness to lend a helping hand and work as a team.
  • Ability to support families through daily communication and engagement.
  • Willingness to join in on fun activities like singing and dancing.
  • Commitment to watching students grow throughout the whole year (longevity).
  • Ability to provide social and emotional support and build healthy relationships.
  • Professionalism and commitment to quality.
  • Motivation and integrity (holding true to what you say you will do).

Nice To Haves

  • CDA coursework or Credential is preferred.
  • AA/BA in ECE or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the health and safety of children.
  • Prepare and implement hands-on activities.
  • Actively supervise children at all times.
  • Engage in daily communication with families (verbal, send pictures, videos, messages).
  • Build strong family relationships through goal setting and engagement in classroom activities.
  • Maintain professionalism.
  • Demonstrate teamwork skills.
  • Be punctual.
  • Enroll in and complete training through training platforms.
  • Maintain appropriate interactions, dress, and communication.
