About The Position
The Goddard School in Edmond is seeking Full and Part Time Teachers for their early childhood education center. The faculty is comprised of caring and dedicated teachers with a strong foundation in early childhood education. Teachers are encouraged to use their creativity to implement the proprietary curriculum through fun and imaginative activities, believing that learning through play is key to a lifelong love of learning.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior classroom experience (Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten)
- Strong written and communication skills
- Displays fluency in written and oral communication
- A strong desire to mold and shape the minds of young children
Responsibilities
- Meeting the individual needs of children and their families
- Interacting with children to support learning through play and exploration
- Implement developmentally appropriate classroom management strategies to ensure success for all students
- Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff
- Comply with all Quality Assurance and state standards to ensure each child's safety and well-being
- Create a nurturing and positive learning environment to develop a life-long love of learning for all children
