Childcare Floater/Teacher Aide
About The Position
Foothills Child Development is a licensed childcare center seeking Teacher Aides/Floaters to support all age groups! This role requires a willingness to effectively substitute for any position as needed, including covering staff breaks, filling in for absences, and assuming classroom duties before or after scheduled shifts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate patience, kindness, and positive interactions with children, parents, and staff, while operating as a team player under the director of the lead teacher. The position involves the physical ability to work around small children, including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs, as well as the ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
Requirements
- High school diploma OR GED
- Ability to pass all background checks
- Must be 18 years of age

Responsibilities
