Childcare Coordinator

About The Position

Exos is seeking a compassionate and organized Kids Care Coordinator to oversee and enhance childcare programs, helping provide a safe, engaging, and family-friendly environment for members. The role leads Kids Care staff, builds meaningful relationships with children and parents, and supports efficient program operations. The coordinator also helps foster a playful, welcoming atmosphere and a strong sense of community among facility members.

Requirements

Prior customer service experience.
Prior childcare experience.
Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications covering infants, children, and adults.
At least 6 months of leadership or supervisory experience.
Ability to create engaging projects and activities for children.
Outgoing personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Enthusiasm and passion for working with children.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Build meaningful relationships with children and their families.
Ensure the program provides a safe, clean, and welcoming atmosphere for children.
Design and implement age-appropriate learning and educational activities.
Foster a playful, family-friendly environment that promotes fun and engagement.
Maintain a professional appearance and courteous, helpful attitude.
Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff, ensuring adherence to department standards and expectations.
Collaborate with team members to build a cohesive and effective team environment.
Schedule staff shifts and approve payroll and time-off requests in alignment with budgeted hours.
Monitor program performance, implement improvements, and attend departmental meetings as necessary.
Build relationships with fitness facility members and promote community and trust.
