Childcare Cook / Bus Driver

This role involves preparing and distributing meals/snacks for children and staff, following daily menus that incorporate USDA, licensing and/or health department regulations, ensuring safe food preparations and proper sanitation methods, and maintaining an inventory of food and supplies. Additionally, the role requires transporting children to/from school in a 14-passenger minibus, completing safety checks and drills, and ensuring a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment. The position also requires willingness to work in the classroom.
Requirements
- At least 21-years-old.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in licensed childcare.
- Ability to pass background checks & health assessments.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience cooking or working in early childhood education may qualify for higher pay.
- Work experience in cooking and/or food preparation for large group food service, preferably in a childcare center, preferred.
- ServSafe certification preferred.
- Experience transporting children in a commercial vehicle preferred.
Responsibilities
