The Assistant Teacher supports children’s daily care, maintains a fun and interactive classroom, and develops skills in observing, assessing, and planning for children. The role also involves communicating effectively with families and completing extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.

Requirements

• Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop the ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children.
