About The Position

Big Blue Marble Academy is hiring a full-time Assistant Teacher with experience working in its Toddlers and Twos classroom. The role supports the Lead Teacher in facilitating daily activities and keeping the classroom running smoothly, partners with families to nurture and care for children, documents children’s milestones using electronic daily tracking, and follows enhanced safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe classroom. The academy provides on-the-job training and opportunities for career development from Assistant Teacher to Center Director.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED.
Demonstrated experience working with children.
Ability to stand six to eight hours daily and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and bend while working with children.
Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
Successful completion of the background check, pre-hire screenings, and onboarding processes.

Nice To Haves

Experience in child care, daycare, or preschool.
Early childhood coursework, a CDA, or a degree.

Responsibilities
