Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities and lesson plans
- Supervise children and maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
- Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and educational development
- Help with meals, diapering, toileting, rest time, and daily routines
- Engage children in age-appropriate learning activities, play, art, music, and outdoor time
- Communicate professionally with parents, teachers, and management
- Follow all center policies, licensing requirements, and health and safety procedures
- Assist with classroom cleaning and sanitizing throughout the day
- Maintain accurate attendance and classroom records
- Work cooperatively with other staff members as part of a team
