About The Position

Supervise and entertain young children in accordance with Georgetown Recreation Center and Sitter Service policies. Applicants should submit a resume. Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: Supervise and entertain young children in accordance with Georgetown Recreation Center and Kids’ Club policies. Plan and lead activities. Greet parents and validate admission. Check children in/out of Kids’ Club. Record visitation throughout the shift. Light cleaning of the childcare room and toys. Performs routine maintenance and cleaning around the facility. Manually check in members. Check out the equipment. Provide potential members with tours. Make copies / fill literature racks. Supervise track, gym, and other building areas. Stock the weight room and other areas with cleaning supplies. Answers multi-line telephone, provides information, takes messages, or directs incoming calls to the proper person.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age at the time of hire.
Experience providing customer service.
Proof of education, certification(s) and experience as listed on the employment application based on the job posting requirements.
Satisfactory results from a pre-employment drug screening, criminal history background and driving record check.
Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Experience with watching children ages 1-9 years is preferred.
