The Child Welfare Quality Assurance Reviewer ensures the delivery of high-quality child welfare services by coordinating, monitoring, and reporting on comprehensive qualitative and quantitative reviews. This position plays a critical role in supporting compliance with Federal and North Carolina child welfare policies and standards, including CPS Intake, CPS Assessments, In-Home Services, Foster Care, Adoptions, ICPC, and LINKS. The Reviewer provides consultation, coaching, and technical assistance to strengthen practice, improve outcomes, and uphold the highest level of service to children, youth, and families. The role also includes active participation in State-led webinars, trainings, committee work, and Child and Family Services Reviews (CFSR) using the Onsite Review Instrument (OSRI). The Reviewer contributes to the implementation of new policies, practices, and systems and completes additional qualitative analyses as requested. Success in this position requires strong interpersonal skills, exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and well-developed technical expertise.
