The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and results oriented individual to serve as Public Service Adminstrator of Health and Human Services for the Children Welfare Empoeee Licensure (CWEL) Manager. Requirements

  • Requires a master’s degree in social work, a related human services field, in business administration, or a juris doctorate from a recognized college or university.
  • Requires three years of administrative child welfare experience.
  • Requires completion of a background check and self-disclosure of criminal history.
  • Requires ability to travel in the performance of duties.
  • Requires appropriate, valid driver’s license.

  • 3 years of professional experience developing and analyzing reports in a public or private organization.
  • 3 years of professional experience evaluating programs and procedures in a public or private organization.
  • 3 years of professional experience implementing operational programs in a public or private organization.
  • 3 years of professional experience managing or administering a program or service in a public or private organization.
  • 3 years of professional experience managing a complex, closely-regulated program or professional service.
  • 3 years of professional experience in the development and implementation of rules, policies, and procedures in a public or private organization.
  • 3 years of professional experience managing a large program with multiple sites at different locations.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as Child Welfare Employee Licensure Manager for Central and Southern Regions.
  • Manages and monitors CWEL Program electronic mailboxes and reviews/processes documents and inquiries.
  • Manages the implementation of CWEL Program rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Manages CWEL Quality Enhancement Program for regions of oversight.
  • Serves as a CWEL Program Policy Representative.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
