About The Position

JusticeWorks YouthCare is seeking a dedicated Child Welfare Case Specialist to join their Somerset County team. This role supports children and families by assessing needs, coordinating services, monitoring progress, and promoting safety and well-being. The goal is to ensure every child has the opportunity to grow in a safe and supportive environment. JusticeWorks operates under the KidsFirst! philosophy, focusing on structured, strengths-based services for safety, stability, and long-term success. Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree and experience working with youth and families
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Ability to pass all required background clearances
  • Ability to pass pre-employment, post-offer drug screening
  • Availability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

  • Review information from the County Intake Department and assess client needs
  • Engage families in service and treatment planning to promote stability and positive outcomes
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of services and update plans as needed
  • Transport clients using your personal vehicle when required
