This position provides administrative and programmatic support to Child Welfare Specialists (CWS), and may perform lower level paraprofessional Child Welfare tasks. The role involves performing administrative support tasks and other related duties, including general office duties, inputting case documentation, compiling social and economic data, scheduling, and assisting in meetings with clients, parents, and other interested parties. The assistant will also help Child Welfare Specialists in documenting and processing reports received at the Hotline in the Child Abuse and Neglect Information System (KIDS). Additionally, the position involves advising callers of available child welfare services and resources, providing specific program information to clients, and potentially referring them to community resources for assistance.
