About The Position

The Child Watch Lead is responsible for providing high quality care to children within Child Watch. The Lead oversees and is responsible for scheduling staff, performance appraisals, conducting staff meetings/trainings and addressing staff needs and concerns.

Requirements

• Minimum age 18 years
• CPR/First Aid Training within 60 days of hire
• Child Abuse and Neglect Training

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with young children preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of all participant documentation and organization for proper reporting requirements.
• Manage day-to-day operations of Child Watch department including scheduling, training and mentoring staff.
• Maintains a good relationship with parents through regular communication and active participation with children.
• Children participate in developmentally appropriate games and learning activities.
• Prepares the area for the program by ensuring toys, supplies, play areas, storage areas, bathroom areas, and furniture are safe, clean, sanitized, organized, and well maintained.
• Attends to the needs of the children including feeding, distributing snacks/drinks provided by parent/guardian, restroom assistance and diapering needs.
• Safety of the children is our number one priority.
