About The Position

Works to facilitate information between internal units, attorneys, and the court. Maintains databases and logs as they pertain to Child Support files. Files Child Support documents with various court systems and works to establish and maintain positive partnerships with court staff and judges in both state and tribal court.

Requirements

• Associate's degree from 2-year college or technical school or two year (60 credit hours) coursework from 4-year college or university. Degree related to position preferred.
• At least three years experience in a related field is required.
• An individual should have knowledge of Database software, Internet software, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating. A driver's license is necessary to be able to drive to various court house locations for filing purposes.
• Must be able to be covered by insurance or bond that covers any financial losses.
• Must possess great customer service skills and exhibit an approachable and positive demeanor while working in a team environment.
• Must possess an ability to read court documents and be able to summarize court documents.
• Must possess great communication skills working with various court entities and attorneys.
• Employee must not and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG’s Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA’s List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
