This position serves as a Speech-Language Pathologist responsible for assessing 2-5 year old children through Child Search. The role involves serving as a resource to school and early childhood center staff, assisting in the identification and referral of speech and language impairments, and participating as a member of the multidisciplinary evaluation team. The Speech-Language Pathologist will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop compliant evaluation reports, and deliver speech and language services in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. Responsibilities include providing screenings, assisting with referrals to community agencies, developing individualized education programs (IEPs) and services plans, and keeping abreast of assistive technology strategies. The role also involves producing in-service education, serving as a consultant to staff, maintaining compliant records, and completing required reports.
