Requirements
- A passion to serve and help children with special needs (from 3 years through 17).
- High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Previous experience in providing care for children with special needs.
- Flexible to work including evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Provide care and supervision to ensure the child’s health & safety.
- Attend to the Child’s basic self-help needs including communication, socialization, and behavioral management.
- Organize activities to support learning and cognitive development.
- Assist daily routines which would ordinarily be performed by family members. This may include providing assistance with the daily activities including personal hygiene, dressing, light housekeeping, meal preparation and feeding.
