About The Position
The Child Play Attendant supervises children and ensures their safety in the child play area during hours of operation while creating a fun and positive play area for the children to enjoy.
Requirements
- Maintain current certification/license, or ability to attain certification/license within 90 days of hire: American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED.
Responsibilities
- Prepare child play area for daily use according to standards and guidelines.
- Supervise and monitor children.
- Maintain data on usage of area.
- Complete forms and submit reports to supervisor.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for activities.
- Cross-train to support a broader range of Recreation Department responsibilities.
