About The Position

Our Child Nutrition staff play an integral part in serving our mission to continuously improve meals and services to meet nutritional requirements, provide a variety of menu items, and give the healthiest choices with the freshest ingredients available.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Minimum 3 months experience
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Frequent bending, hand-eye coordination, mind-eye coordination, hearing, stooping, speaking, walking, removing, reaching and grasping are required
• Ability to drive a vehicle is required
• Post-offer drug screening and physical (funded by the District) required prior to starting position
• Valid South Dakota driver’s license and proof of insurance

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads food and supplies.
• Drives truck to deliver food and supplies, or fill with fuel.
• Assists with set-up of serving line; serves food.
• Gathers dirty trays, containers and garbage.
• Dumps garbage barrels, flattens boxes, transfers dirty items to dish room, and sanitizes truck.
• Keeps truck filled with fuel.
• Adheres to District guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
