About The Position
Our Child Nutrition staff play an integral part in serving our mission to continuously improve meals and services to meet nutritional requirements, provide a variety of menu items, and give the healthiest choices with the freshest ingredients available. This role is responsible for loading and unloading food and supplies, driving a truck to deliver these items, and assisting with serving food. The position also involves maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the truck.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Minimum 3 months experience
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Frequent bending, hand-eye coordination, mind-eye coordination, hearing, stooping, speaking, walking, removing, reaching and grasping are required.
- Ability to drive a vehicle is required.
- Valid South Dakota driver's license and proof of insurance.
Responsibilities
- Loads and unloads food and supplies.
- Drives truck to deliver food and supplies, or fill with fuel.
- Assists with set-up of serving line; serves food.
- Gathers dirty trays, containers and garbage.
- Dumps garbage barrels, flattens boxes, transfers dirty items to dish room, and sanitizes truck.
- Keeps truck filled with fuel.
- Adheres to District guidelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
