About The Position

The Child Nutrition Assistant supports safe preparation, heating, portioning, and serving of vendor-provided meals for children ages 16 months through 5 years at Wilder Child Development Center. The role is based in a fast-paced early childhood setting and includes maintaining a clean, sanitary food service environment, completing required documentation, assisting with classroom food and nutrition activities as needed, and supporting family food distribution. The schedule is 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Serve Safe Food Handler Certificate.
• Commitment to working with children and families through a whole family approach.
• Willingness to learn and be trained.

• Previous nutrition experience.
