About The Position
To provide assistance in pediatric patient care services under the direction of the Child Life Manager. Provides skilled supervision of a multi-age playroom and bedside play, as needed. Assists with facilitating playroom operations, per Child Life Department policy and procedure. Plan and implement activities in play space to encourage growth and development in pediatric patients. Assists with material management, supervision of volunteers and communicates with Child Life staff regarding patient needs and interactions.
Requirements
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Child Life, Education, Special Education or related field.
- Experience working with ages 0-18 years required.
