Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Post high school coursework in child development or a related field.
• Six months of experience working with school-aged children.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision and guidance of the Child Life staff, plans and conducts activity programs to reduce patient and family stress.
• Provides appropriate play environment where patients and families learn and interact with others in an emotionally and physically safe environment.
• Assists in programs and projects that benefit patients and siblings.
