The Child & Family Therapist provides behavioral health services to children ages 0–12 and their families enrolled in the PWDC program. The therapist focuses on strengthening parent-child relationships, addressing developmental and behavioral concerns, and supporting families impacted by substance use disorders. This role includes providing dyadic parent-child therapy, conducting developmental screenings, and delivering early childhood behavioral health interventions that support healthy development and family stability. The therapist may also support families involved with DCFS reunification efforts when applicable. The Child & Family Therapist works closely with the multidisciplinary program team to ensure families receive coordinated services that promote recovery, parenting success, and positive child outcomes.
