About The Position

Paragon Behavioral Health Connections is a comprehensive behavioral health organization dedicated to positively impacting individuals and families through compassionate, client-centered care. We aim to deliver personalized care that uplifts clients and builds supportive connections within communities. Through community-based or in-home services, and digital solutions, we meet clients where they are, both physically and emotionally, to provide the right support at the right time. Serving communities across Colorado, we offer equitable and creative “one-stop” behavioral health services, including in-home mental health and substance use treatment, crisis stabilization, early childhood support, intensive outpatient programs, assertive community treatment, medication management, and wrap-around support. Our vision is to empower individuals and families with complex needs to overcome challenges, build essential skills, and access resources for long-term well-being. We provide services such as step-down care from inpatient hospitalization for youth and adults, comprehensive support for children and families, and specialized treatment for adults facing depression, trauma, substance use, and other mental health needs. Our programming includes intensive care management, Crisis Stabilization, Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), Child First, integrated co-occurring Intensive Outpatient treatment, individual and family therapy, medication management (including MAT), peer support, supported employment/housing, and holistic recovery services.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or related field (required).
  • Within one month of employment must obtain a preliminary clinical license (LPCC, LSW, LMFTC, etc.).
  • Fully Licensed (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) - All licenses must stay up to date and valid during employment.
  • Minimum 2 years in behavioral health/clinical service preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, willingness to travel to homes/communities.
  • Requires living in or near the location of the posting.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred, depending on location.

Responsibilities

  • Complete assessments and evaluations to develop treatment plans tailored to client and family goals.
  • Deliver individual and family interventions to support healthy relationships and address the priorities identified by the family and child/youth, often in the homes of the families we serve.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and care managers to ensure basic needs such as food, housing, and child care are addressed, and facilitate educational/vocational training support.
  • Recommend and facilitate interventions that support youth skill building and the development of parenting strategies matched to the needs of the child/youth.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in therapeutic approaches, adapting techniques and interventions to meet the evolving needs of clients, recognizing that each individual’s journey is unique and dynamic.
  • Maintain high standards of documentation, ethics, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Show a passion for learning and building skills that enhance professional growth, strengthen clinical effectiveness, and contribute to the overall success of the care team.
  • 16-20 direct service hours per week
