About The Position

The Bradley Center has continually served children and families in need since 1905. Today, the residential treatment facility provides 24-hour care and trauma-informed treatment to children who have a history of trauma and may present with a wide range of challenges. This role is for individuals passionate about helping children and making a positive impact on their lives, aiming to build lives of possibility. While every day may not be easy, the work is impactful and can influence children and families for years to come. The Bradley Center is a great place to launch a career and gain valuable experience. Full-time and PRN positions are available for all shifts.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology or other related field preferred OR a minimum of 48 college credits in social work, psychology or other related field required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Valid driver's license and car insurance.

Responsibilities

Provide 24-hour care and trauma-informed treatment to children with a history of trauma.
Help children overcome their challenges.
Build rapport with children that leads to pro-social development.
Work with residents at their own pace with patience and creativity.
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Maintain a professional demeanor, sound judgment, dependability, and a strong work ethic.
Utilize problem-solving skills.
