Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license and car insurance.
  • Minimum of 48 college credits in social work, psychology or other related field required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 24-hour care and trauma-informed treatment to children with a history of trauma.
  • Work with children who may present with a wide range of challenges.
  • Build rapport with children that leads to pro-social development.
  • Work with residents at their own pace with patience and creativity.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor, sound judgment, and a strong work ethic.
  • Solve problems effectively.
