About The Position

WOCAP, a local nonprofit organization, seeks a Child Development Services Associate Director to provide leadership and direction in planning and implementing its Head Start/Early Head Start Programs. The role is responsible for integrating program services with other Agency programs and the community, and ensuring adherence to Head Start/Early Head Start Performance Standards, ODJFS Licensing Laws, and WOCAP personnel policies and procedures. The Associate Director also provides employee training as needed and prepares, implements, and monitors budgets and finances in collaboration with the Child Development Services Director, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Executive Officer.

WOCAP is an award-winning agency employing over 100 people. Its child development programs serve more than 200 children daily across four sites and 17 rooms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Development, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Supervisory experience.
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to assist and relate to a diverse population.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Valid Ohio driver's license, current vehicle insurance, and access to a privately owned vehicle during working hours.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of five years' experience as an administrator of social services is preferred.
