The Child Development Center Teacher at Blessed Sacrament Child Development Center is responsible for supervising children aged 18 to 24 months, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for their play and learning. This role involves creating and implementing lesson plans, completing classroom reports, and preparing daily reports for each child. The teacher will also supervise and train assistant teachers, communicate effectively with students, parents, and professionals, and adhere to DFPS regulations. Responsibilities include changing diapers, toilet training, maintaining presentation requirements, and attending ongoing training to stay updated on education and regulations. The position also requires participation in dismissal procedures, upholding the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school, and modeling Gospel values. The teacher must maintain confidentiality, demonstrate professionalism, and foster positive interactions with parents. Additional duties include attending staff meetings, in-services, and performing other tasks assigned by the Director. Ensuring a staff member trained in CPR/First Aid is present during operating hours is crucial. The role requires maintaining accurate records, collaborating with peers, and possessing proficient technology skills.
